Bora Bora Tiki Bar Restaurant Matchbook Art T-Shirt
100% Cotton T-Shirt Printed Direct-T-Garment with water based inks Printed and Ships from The United States Original digital design or restoration.
All we know of the Bora Bora Tiki Bar and restaurant is that it is long since gone and was once located someplace called Restaurant Square. Also, they had a matchbook with tikis on it. We also think it was in Florida.
The image we are selling comes from the back on one of their matchbooks, but we redid the design a bit. The RS (which stood for Restaurant Square) has been reduced and minimized from the original. We added the words Fine Polynesian Dining to the bottom (which is just what w eimagined the place to be and is not a certification of quality) and then enlarged and retraced the Tiki and the words Bora Bora. We printed this on a Vintage Green Hanes Nano shirt. It looks cool.
Why did we do all this? Well, it says Bora Bora, and for whatever reason those of us at Club Tiki/TeeGeniuses central really like the words Bora Bora. The island so nice they named it twice. Whatever the case here it is, all new and redesigned as if it were someplace that was open to this day!
Not a heat transfer or a screen print, this shirt is hand-craftedly printed on our very own Direct-T-Garment printing machine. Think of this as a Giclee print on a 100% Ring Spun Cotton t-shirt. Available in men's sizes Small-XL, If you need ladies sizes please let us know. The shirt itself is a 100& Ringspun Cotton Hanes Nano T-Shirt. Think of an American Apparel shirt that will not fall apart after a couple of washings or a hard night of lifting Mai Tais in honor of the tiki gods. Ultra-light cotton jersey feels fantastic next to your skin. Contemporary, contoured fit. Preshrunk for great fit wash after wash. Two-needle sleeve and bottom hems for added durability. Narrow, ribbed collar for a more vintage look.
